Position Summary:
Delta Defense is actively seeking an Information Security Intern with a passion for growth and innovation eager to join a team committed to protecting the protectors. This is a paid internship. This role requires candidates to live within a commutable distance to our headquarters in West Bend Wisconsin.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Security Operations: Assist with daily security monitoring and alert triage contributing to security operations incident response and remediation workflows.
- Identity and Access Management: Support the rollout of enterprise identity solutions including password management and Zero Trust security architecture.
- Security Architecture & Engineering: Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to document system hardening efforts and validate secure deployment practices.
- Threat and Vulnerability Management: Observe and contribute to penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to strengthen overall security posture.
- Governance Risk and Compliance: Assist in developing and refining internal security documentation to support audit readiness and policy compliance.
- Security Awareness and Training: Support security awareness initiatives through simulated phishing campaigns and departmentspecific training efforts.
- Collect and analyze security data to support key performance indicators (KPIs) related to endpoint security user behavior compliance and tool adoption.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors in Computer Science Information Security Cybersecurity Information Technology or related field. Equivalent work experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of pursuing a degree.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Networking Operating Systems Security Tools & Technologies Cryptography and Security Frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in highpressure situations.
- Demonstrates the Core Values of Delta Defense LLC.
Duration: The internship is set to run from approximately May 19 2025 to August 29 2025. However were open to adjusting the dates to accommodate the ideal candidate.
Work Hours: Monday Friday 8:00am 4:30pm Central Time.
Location: This position is based at our Corporate HQ in West Bend.
Pay: Starting salary $19.00 $22.00/hour based on experience. No benefits.
