Description:

The CNA/Caregiver/HHAis responsible for providing high quality safe and supportive care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. In addition the CNA/Caregiver/HHAwill assist the patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and other necessary task that are essential to their every day living.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Personal CareAssist with personal hygiene bathing showering and dressing.
• MobilityAssist with ambulation physical therapy exercise and walking inside and outside the home.
• MealsAssist with the planning and preparation of meals
• Housekeepingperform light housekeeping duties where needed (dishes bedding laundry dust sweep mop etc..
• RemindersRemind clients to take prescription medications and of scheduled appointments.
• ErrandsComplete shopping task or accompany patients while they shop.
• TransportationProvide safe and reliable transportation to appointments shopping pharmacy and other errands as needed.

Teamwork:

• Work cooperatively in a oneonone setting and providing feedback and updates to office staff as required.
• Adhere to all company regulations quality and safety standards.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

• Ability to enrich the lives of others in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Ability to assist clients/patients in a oneonone environment.
• Must be able to adapt to changing situations as needed.
• Must be able to follow instructions and implement proper safety protocols and standards.
• Must have flexible availability to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends.
• Ability to act in emergency situations quickly and responsively.

Education Certification License:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Current TB Testing
• CPR/First Aid
• DCW Training (will provide if needed)
• Fingerprint Clearance Card or Background Check
• Hoyer Lift Experience (client specific requirement).
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation required.
• Must be 18yrs or older
