Position Summary
To provide receptionist and clerical support. Assist individuals with general inquiries by telephone and in person. Provide general clerical support to staff and maintain general operation of the office. May act as initial contact for visitors.
*Preference will be given to candidates with written and oral proficiency in both official languages (English and French).
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Clerical:
Answers telephone/switchboard and assists by directing calls and inquiries to appropriate staff as required
Responds to inquiries (by telephone and in person) as required
Greets and direct visitors at reception as required
Processes incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages and distributes mail
Provides clerical support duties such as filing scheduling appointments typing forms and report preparation
Processes work orders as required
Completes data input using various software programs such as Excel Yardi Property Management Vadim (iCity)
Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable as required
Technology
Working knowledge of computer programs and databases used in daily work (May include: SDMT CBS Microsoft Office Vadim (iCity) Yardi Property Management MTO OSAP EI etc.
General:
Incumbents must keep uptodate on all relevant legislation collective bargaining agreements County Policies and Procedures etc. ensuring that these are implemented as prescribed
Incumbents must possess the physical ability to meet the duties and responsibilities of the job description and/or the requirements identified within the positions Physical Demands Analysis
