Job Description
The Department of Enterprise Applications Technical Integration is seeking applicants for a Systems Integration Engineer to design configure and maintain all integrations and interfaces into the Universitys suite of applications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Defines Documents and maintains consistent architecture and technical approaches to webbased development projects. This includes the use of fullstack technologies used to deliver the solution from relational databases to web services to frontend code and HTML . Leads participates and performs in code environment and design reviews to ensure quality work. Analyzes the impact of change requests on web architecture and projects. Recommends new solutions architecture technology and software. Designs solution architecture for platforms products software and integrations. Is a subject matter expert in several development frameworks such as Cold Fusion Java Javascript JQuery AJAX JSON HTML CSS XML AEM and MuleSoft. Is highly skilled in several developmental and web programming frameworks including Mulesoft PHP . NET Java Python Javascript XML HTML CSS and XSLT etc. Works with a variety of database systems including MySQL and Oracle. Works with clients as well as internal development project management user experience server engineering and quality assurance teams to create integration solutions specific to higher education business workflows. Documents diagrams and approves design solutions. Escalates and responds to emergencies and urgent issues with appropriate urgency and professionalism. Provides oncall support for emergencies and outages. Works closely with other internal teams to define and maintain the infrastructure necessary to support clients. Serves as a technical expert and provides guidance to less experienced staff.
