Job Description
Overview:
Are you an experienced test engineer looking to make your mark in a greenfield cloudbased development project Quadax healthcares premier revenue cycle technology company is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to bring industry best practices and tools to our team to help accelerate our development and testing procedures through advanced test automation. Preference is for candidates that live within commuting distance of Middleburg Heights OH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecting and deploying test automation frameworks and building the test automation capability within the organization
- Research review and recommend approaches technical tools and products that promote an effective and efficient team
- Mentoring & coaching team members
- Develop automation test scripts using programming language
- Execute on test strategies and test plans aimed to observe test diagnose and report defects in the software.
- Execute manual or automated test cases and document test results.
- Communicate status of testing activities and test results.
- Work collaboratively with software development staff on medium to high complexity departmental and crossdepartmental projects.
- Adhere to Agile software development practices.
- Stay connected with new and enhanced application features and functions in order to conduct effective end to end testing to ensure the stability and quality of releases.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Management Information Systems or other related degree or years of experience
- Minimum of 6 years relevant QA experience
- Minimum of 4 years in test automation
- Software testing experience including writing test strategies test plans and test scripts and documenting test results
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience in a .NET development environment
- Knowledge of various testing methodologies testing tools and test types
- Strong technical skills including scripting capabilities in C# Java or tool specific languages
- Basic SQL skills
- API Testing experience
- Performance testing experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
