Overview

We are seeking a candidate to join us at IST Managements corporate headquarters as an IT Support Specialist (Level I II or III) on our IT Services team.

We will first review eligible candidates via oneway online video web interview in order to limit the number of individuals we bring into our office space.

Job Summary

The IT Support Specialist I is essential to our operations focusing on swiftly resolving support issues and delivering highquality support to both employees and external clients. This role requires adept troubleshooting and effective problemsolving for a variety of technologyrelated issues including hardware software and network concerns. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of tech systems the ability to communicate effectively with diverse users and a commitment to maintaining operational excellence and user satisfaction.

Hours

Monday Friday 8AM 5PM occasional overtime partial/hybrid work from home schedule and afterhours oncall rotation (as needed) to ensure critical support coverage outside of standard business hours.

Compensation

Direct hire with a compensation range of $46000 $58000 per year dependent upon experience and performance during the interview process

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Provide timely and precise technical support to employees and external clients with issues related to hardware software networking and other computerrelated technologies
  • Install configure and maintain PC software and operating systems
  • Maintain and provide technical support for audiovisual (AV) systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
  • Assist and support live music events by managing and operating AV systems to deliver highquality sound and visual experiences
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in person remotely and via phone
  • Uphold the security and privacy of network and computer systems
  • Conduct upgrades and maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to operations
  • Execute diagnostic tests and repair malfunctioning hardware and software
  • Document technical processes notes and manuals in detail
  • Keep accurate records/logs of repairs and fixes
  • Proactively follow up with users to confirm the resolution of system issues
  • Efficiently manage the IT inventory lifecycle from procurement to disposal
  • Some afterhours oncall work is required ensuring critical support coverage outside of standard business hours

Qualifications

Qualifications Include:

  • An Associates degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field or equivalent practical experience in IT support roles
  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting various technical issues
  • Exceptional problemsolving and communication skills
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software preferred
  • Understanding of Windows/MacOS operating systems network security practices and the use of tools components and peripheral accessories
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus but not required
