An exciting opportunity within a privately QLD owned civil construction company who focus on delivering a range of projects within resourcing roads bridges / structures construction utilities and urban projects. This contractor has a reputation as a reliable and fair contractor who maintains positive relationships with stakeholders and clients.
Initially in the office with the anticipation of heading out to projects consisting of civil infrastructure concrete/structures and roadworks for TMR local Councils & authorities in the Wide Bay Burnett Region. This is a great opportunity for a Project Engineer with exposure and responsibilities towards project management.
Your role will be supporting the Project Manager in the daytoday running of the site including the following responsibilities:
- Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers
- Programming and daily planning
- Quality Assurance management
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients subcontractors and stakeholders
- Assisting with preparation of financial reports and completing forecasts
- Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met
To be successful you must have a proven track record of delivering projects to DTMR specifications local council or other state main roads and quality standards with a civil contractor in similar conditions. Relevant Civil Engineering Tertiary qualifications are required and the personal drive to progress in the industry.
