AAMRidgway is looking for an Electrical Engineer youll be the goto expert for designing troubleshooting and enhancing systems across a fastpaced Powdered Metal manufacturing environment. Youll collaborate crossfunctionally with Engineering Quality and Maintenance teams to ensure our products exceed customer expectations. Salary will be based on experience.Job Description
Your role will include:
Diagnosing and repairing advanced electrical/electronic systems (AllenBradley FANUC SIEMENS Mitsubishi KEYENCE ABB COGNEX).
Driving rootcause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Developing and implementing new technologies and experimental projects.
Training crossfunctional teams and creating clear work instructions.
Leading electromechanical upgrades and process improvements.
Working knowledge of applicable hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Must be a selfstarter.
Must be able to work flexible shifts as needed.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be proficient with EXCEL Word and PowerPoint (or equivalent programs).
Understands requirements of many jobs performed by the team.
Good facilitation skills.
Understands different decision making and problem solving techniques.
Demonstrates ability to act with limited direction.
Communication skills necessary to work with people outside the team.
Demonstrates ability to get results through others.
Strong listening and communication skills.
Required Skills and Education
- Associates degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- 5 years of equivalent experience or a combination of education and experience
- FANUC Vision Systems PLC and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in industrial electronic systems electrical motor controls programmable controls printed circuits AC/DC frequency drives AutoCAD Panel Building and print design and Powder Metal Molding Press controls
- Experience working in Powder Metal environment
