What Youll Be Doing
As a Physics Teacher whether youre an ECT or an experienced Physics Teacher your role will involve:

• Teaching Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4 ensuring students develop both an understanding of the subject and a passion for learning.

• Planning and delivering engaging differentiated Physics lessons tailored to a wide range of abilities and learning styles.

• Leading practical experiments that demonstrate how Physics concepts apply to the real world sparking curiosity in students.

• Using data to assess and track student progress ensuring Physics attainment is raised and students are continually challenged.

• Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the Physics curriculum to keep it innovative and engaging.

• Supporting extracurricular activities such as science clubs and studentled projects to help students extend their interest in Physics beyond the classroom.

What Were Looking For
We are looking for a Physics Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physics or a closely related subject.

• Has experience teaching Physics to students aged 1116 whether as an ECT or an experienced Physics Teacher.

• Is skilled in planning and delivering highquality engaging Physics lessons that inspire students and develop their love for the subject.

• Has a proactive and reflective approach to professional development and is committed to growing as a Physics Teacher.

• Is enthusiastic about helping students reach their full potential in Physics and beyond.

• Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the ethos and community of the school.
