If you have valid QID and are Qatar resident press NO when asked for :We are looking to hire a Head of Construction for a national oil and gas operator in Doha must have a minimum of 18 years experience in an appropriate discipline involving construction/installation precommissioning and commissioning of onshore oil and gas in English is a must. Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the supervision of contractors site activities and construction works to ensure compliance with approved scope approved design QHSE requirements and schedule leading to timely completion commissioning and handover of assigned projectsResponsible for all multidiscipline site construction activities assigned projectsLed a team of Construction Supervisors providing constructabilityrelated direction guidance and adviceControl and supervise site construction/installation of project works including workshop prefabrication works of all disciplines by approved drawings specifications and PlanParticipate and give input on constructability during the feasibility and design stage when requestedAssist in mobilization and demobilization of Contractor personnel equipment and logistics involving Contractors Subcontractors and VendorsRandomly inspect construction works and materials by Work Plans and Inspection Test PlansCoordinate liaise and follow up with relevant parties to resolve complex site issues and raise technical queries for required modifications as necessaryBe a safety leader while performing site construction activities in live plants and ensure site compliance with statutory safety and environmental regulationsProactive with simultaneous operation & construction works in live plants by understanding the End Users constraints/concerns and hence minimizing effects on the project schedule and costCoordinate precommissioning activities assist during the commissioning of Department projects and ensure that all Punch List items are cleared promptlySupport Qatari development activities by ensuring that Qatari Nationals receive the proper job training and development to realize the full potential of local talents and maximize contribution to project success Requirements:BSc in an Engineering Discipline or Diploma with extensive construction management experienceMinimum 18 (Eighteen) years experience in an appropriate discipline involving construction/installation precommissioning and commissioning of onshore oil and gas projects including a minimum of 5 years in a similar positionExperience in PMC/EPC Organization in LNG/NGL/Refinery and has managed construction Precommissioning and Commissioning of major brownfield and green filed project(s)Experienced with simultaneous operation & construction works in live plants by understanding the End Users constraints/concerns and hence minimizing effects on the project schedule and costComputer literate in appropriate softwareGood knowledge of industry engineering standards quality control safety and environmental awareness Middle East Experience an advantageGood knowledge of construction and QHSErelated standardsGood ability to interpret and review method statements inspection and test plans lifting/erection plans construction schedules and drawingsAbility to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems related to construction activities and suggest solutionsGood communication and reportwriting skillsAbility to supervise a multinational and multicultural workforceBHMS0880Bounty Hunter WorldRequirementsWhere are you locatedWhats your nationalityWhat is your expected salary for this jobWhat is your notice period; when can you engage this jobThe application wont be accepted if nationality is Iran Iraq Sudan Egypt Israel Congo Afghanistan Libya.
