Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the technical delivery of major construction projects in Riyadh. You will serve as the primary technical authority ensuring that all engineering designs drawings and site activities meet quality safety and regulatory standards while aligning with project objectives and timelines.


Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

o Develop and maintain the project Technical Plan (TEP).

o Oversee all engineering disciplines civil structural mechanical electrical and architectural ensuring integrated solutions.

Design & Documentation:

o Review comment on and approve design drawings shop drawings and technical submittals.

o Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and design change notices (DCNs) to resolve technical queries promptly.

Quality & Compliance:

o Ensure all work adheres to relevant codes standards (e.g. Saudi Building Code ASTM BS ISO) and contract specifications.

o Coordinate with QA/QC teams to implement inspection and testing regimes.

Site Coordination:

o Conduct regular site visits to verify workmanship and resolve field technical issues.

o Interface with contractors consultants and thirdparty inspectors on technical matters.

Team Management & Mentoring:

o Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.

o Assign technical tasks set performance objectives and conduct periodic reviews.

Risk & Issue Management:

o Identify technical risks and develop mitigation plans.

o Track and close out nonconformances lessons learned and technical action items.

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement:

o Prepare and present technical progress reports dashboards and highlight reports to senior management and clients.

o Participate in design review meetings workshops and coordination sessions.



Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Civil Structural Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

10 years of handson experience in technical management roles on largescale construction or infrastructure projects preferably in the GCC.

Preferably with PMP PMIRMP or equivalent project/technical management certification.

Proven track record managing multidiscipline engineering teams and delivering complex technical scopes.

Experience on highprofile megaprojects or visionary developments.

Strong knowledge of local regulations building codes and international standards.

Proficiency in industry software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit Navisworks) and Microsoft Office.

Excellent leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
