Job Description
- Performing necessary administrative tasks to ensure 100 availability of the Hadoop cluster.
- Administering the Linux platform on which all Hadoop nodes are configured.
- Managing Hadoop ecosystem components such as HDFS Hive HBase etc.
- Supporting the migration of the existing Hadoop cluster to a costeffective platform without service disruption
Requirements
- Proficient in Hadoop administration and Cloudera Data Platform.
- Strong understanding of Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS Hive HBase etc..
- Experience with Linux platform administration.
- Technical skills: Linux OS Artifactory Active Directory Kerberos Exchange Services for email encryption security protocols (proxy certificates etc. VMWare Puppet PowerShell Shell Scripting installing and configuring R/Python database standard drivers and using SQLAlchemy for Teradata SQL Server and Hive GIT Jupyter Notebooks ESP Cloudera Hadoop.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to ensure high availability and performance of Hadoop clusters.
