Are you a passionate Composite Trimmer/Fitter Technician ready to take on your next challenge and to join a fastpaced F1 team. This is your chance to play a critical role in the continuous improvement of our vehicle and shape our future.
As a Composite Trimmer/Fitter Technician you will be responsible for the trimming fitting and boding of carbon fibre components working on a weekday nightshift pattern.
As a Composite Trimmer/Fitter Technician your main responsibilities will be:
- Trimming composite material using specialised hand and power tools following dimensions and tolerances from an engineering drawing.
- Fitting of composite components for bonded assemblies.
- Bond and assemble composite components in accordance with company procedures and standards.
- Perform composite repairs such as filling voids or repairing damage using appropriate composite repair techniques.
- Perform selfinspections of finished parts to guarantee conformance to stringent engineering drawings and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with other departments across the team to optimize workflow meet production targets and continuously improve component quality.
- Maintain a clean organised and safe work environment adhering to strict 5S and LEAN principles.
- Adhere to data capturing processes to ensure you and colleagues are compliant with regulations.
We are looking for a Composite Trimmer/Fitter Technician with the following skills and experience:
Key Accountabilities:
Fulfil all organisational expectations including but not limited to the following:

- Ensure understanding of and compliance with health and safety obligations.
- Maintain personal high standards of behaviour and conduct being a positive ambassador for the department.
- Ensure you adhere to brand rules and maintain high standards of department presentation.
- Work to quality standards and identify and contribute ways to continuously improve department and personal performance.
- Ensure understanding of cost cap rules and requirements.
Core Competencies:
- Strong communication
- Follow company quality standard within the Department.
- Manage personal objectives to ensure on time delivery.
- Collaborate with others within composites and other department demonstrate teamwork.
Qualifications and Experience Level:
- Experience in Trimming and assembly experience Preferably in F1
- Competent in trimming composites components to precise dimensions
- Full understanding of Adhesive specs and their properties
- Knowledge in a range of material surface preparation for composite bonding
- Proficient in composite repair techniques
