Job Description
RESPEC seeks a dynamic and energetic Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our fullservice engineering team! You will be designing various types of projects in our Soldotna Alaska office for public and private sector clients. This is a handson engineering design position in RESPECs Transporation Market Sector and will include working on variety of multidiscipline design and construction projects. This is a great career opportunity for a dynamic energetic individual looking to grow in their profession while gaining valuable experience on a wide variety of projects performed across Alaska.
Qualifications :
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- EngineerinTraining or the ability to obtain within one year
- Autodesk AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency
- Solid knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams
- Selfmotivated energetic and able to take on new tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Detail oriented & well organized with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Valid drivers license
Additional Preferred Experience/Skills
- Experience in construction
- Knowledge of Civil3D modeling (corridors grading pipe models etc. quantities calculations and cost estimating is a plus
- Experience in preparing design drawings and design calculations for utility site and roadway improvement projects

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. RESPEC is a 100 percent employeeowned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
