Job Description


Turner & Townsend is looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager with experience in electrical systems to lead and oversee the electrical aspects of retrofitting an existing factory into a stateoftheart battery manufacturing plant for a highprofile client. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning and completion of the project within the specified timeline and budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities:  

  • Manage stakeholders including architects engineers and supply chain to deliver compliant projects.
  • Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
  • Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Provide technical support to owners architects general contractors and regional stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing excellent working relationships with clients to maximize new opportunities.
  • Verify that effective project governance processes and systems are utilized.
  • Ensure application of best practices on all projects.
  • Capture key information and learnings from each project.
  • Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes.
  • Analyze track and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
  • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects to ensure compliance with approved design standards.
  • Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
  • Independently review status reports drawing submittals timelines and costs from architects contractors and suppliers.
  • Forecast and update key project milestones.
  • Develop and manage schedules specifically related to battery retrofit projects.
  • Ensure integration of battery systems with existing factory infrastructure.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and cost impact of battery retrofit activities ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Provide expertise for cost control value engineering and constructability guidance where required.
  • Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field.
  • Provide strategic advice to project teams to achieve both client and business objectives.
  • Offer commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering exercises.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role which are to be adhered to where applicable. 

Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Construction Management or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years in electrical project management focusing on electrical systems and largescale construction projects including battery retrofit projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Indepth knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
  • Fluency in Korean is advantageous.


Additional Information :



The salary range for this fulltime role is $140K$160K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range depending on candidates experience and qualifications.
