Job Description

The role serves as a crucial liaison between the Head of AP local FBS teams and Projects. It ensures the implementation and operational enforcement of the new/current processes approved by the AP Head (in collaboration with senior management); provides risk management advice taking into consideration local market nuances; and oversees UAT activities across 18 APAC/EU countries within his/her scope. This position follows a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities:

  • Handson experience throughout the entire Accounts Payable (AP) process.
  • Preparation presentation tracking and countersteering of KPIs/OKRs through datadriven dashboards for reporting.
  • Responsible for UAT activities across APAC and EU regions ensuring adequate capacity planning and the seamless implementation of workflows for endtoend Accounts Payable processes while executing directives from the AP Head.
  • Collaborating operationally with local country stakeholders on AP processes including:  standardizing procedures;  and providing training taking into account local nuances legal obligations and regulations. This position supports the transactional and operational aspects of AP after the Head has assessed and authorized any required modifications.
  • Regularly review and test the group operations to ensure adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Internal Controls and process Taxonomy; Recommend changes and ensure alignment with the AP Head prior to implementation.
  • This role entails executing the MEC directives from the Head of AP. It requires effectively communicating and operationally supporting these decisions across all local operations; Monitors timely of the standard MEC process and assists local country stakeholders and teams with general MEC inquiries.
  • Execute comprehensive training programs for Service Delivery Teams and conduct training once these are designed and approved by the AP Head.
  • Act as interim substitute for Senior Managers during extended leave or transitions to different teams and Provide guidance or support to Senior Managers across all markets.
  • Provide guidance and support to Managers and Senior Managers during Audits and Monthly Business Review discussions with the business.

 

 


Qualifications :

  • 5 years of relevant accounting and Accounts Payable experience with a degree in Accounting Business Administration or Finance
  • With experience as Accounts Payable SME and had stakeholder management exposure
  • Proven experience in service delivery or a related field
  • Preferably but not required with Travel & Expense Masterdata and Payment Processing experience (on top of Accounts Payable)
  • Direct experience within a multinational environment with a complex regional/country environment.
  • Processoriented with an understanding of both financial and operational controls.
  • Strong analytical skills and who can foresee upstream and downstream impacts.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.
  • Handson experience with ERP systems such as SAP Hana and other invoicing/ticketing systems will be an added advantage but not required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge language barriers you must be able to work collaboratively with a diverse group of people
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English language for effective communication with overseas stakeholders and vendors.
  • The operations teams are faithfully executing SOPs and adhering to internal controls.

  • Prepare lead and anchor the MBR/QBR presentation to all markets with close collaborations with the markets operational Leads.
