Job Description

Job Summary: Eurofins BPT Small Molecule Method Development and Validation team is seeking an Scientist to join their team full time in Lancaster PA. This individual will work in a duel analyst and data reviewer role. The Scientist will be able to:

  • Perform various type of testing using chromatographic systems Karl Fischer (Coulometric and Volumetric) UV/Spec various wet chemistry analyses HPLC IC IR ICP AA TGP DSC PDA autotitrators TLC and dissolution apparatus
  • Execute specialized analyses and method transfer and feasibility testing
  • Troubleshoot method and instrumentation problems
  • Use office and instrumentation specific computer software
  • Develop and execute validation plans
  • Carry out method transfers and feasibility studies
  • Train technical staff
  • Some travel to client sites for technical meetings could be required
  • Determine if data is compliant and defendable based on industry regulations and methodology
  • Verify scientific data is of sound quality following all method industry and client requirements where applicable
  • Ensure that the client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy clarity and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations
  • Review simple and complex routine and nonroutine data (for three or more areas) according to departmental corporate and client SOPs; read and understand analytical procedures; ensure all work is performed according to GLP/GMP requirements and apply GLP/GMP in all areas of responsibility as appropriate
  • Diagnose problems solve simple problems and suggest solutions to complex problems in professional area
  • Review methods to ensure procedures are followed
  • Authorize written reports (e.g. SOP OMC client reports)

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in chemistry pharmaceutical science or other related degree concentration and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a cGMP compliant industry lab.
  • Masters degree in chemistry pharmaceutical science or other related degree concentration and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a cGMP compliant industry lab.
  • Experience with HPLC and Empower
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship

Position is fulltime position Monday Friday 8:00am 4:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster PA are encouraged to apply.
