Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Market Access Strategy and Transformation the Market Access In Field Team (IFT) AD will take responsibility for developing Market Access IFT strategy to support affiliate teams coordinating with cross functions the core deliverables to enhance our in field team support and ultimately payer engagement      

Abbvies Access In Field Team sees a variety of access stakeholders to communicate topics relating to our disease areas and the position / value of  brands.    Enhancing our IFTs has been identified by affiliates as a core strategy and this role has been created to lead our global efforts.

This is a new role in the team and represents an opportunity for a talented individual to make a significant impact.  The IFT AD will have close collaboration with Area and affiliates as well as partner functions including commercial excellence and BTS.

Develop and execute Market Access In Field Team strategy 20                                                   

  • Working with the Area Access Leaders and Market Access Directors (MADs) around the world develop a clear Market Access in Field Team Strategy.
  • Drive the implementation of inField team excellence to advance our payer engagement model in target markets.
  • Partner with Commercial excellence teams on IFT excellence projects (e.g capabilities) so that market access is well represented.
  • Orchestrate the cross functional workstreams needed to progress our infield team plans (e.g systems content training)

Drive of In Field Team Excellence 30

  • Lead a community of MADs / Access IFT Leaders around the word to share experiences and best practices to advance our Payer engagement.
  • Align payer segmentation approach with countries to inform communication planning and needs.
  • Partner with Areas to define mechanisms for measuring progress.

Embed rigor in the use of internal IFT stakeholder platforms 20     

  • Evaluate current system (CRM) utilization around the world and identify opportunities for enhancement. Align with MADs on vision and commitment to system utilization.
  • Partner with the countries and BTS to ensure Access needs are incorporated into current and future CRM / account management systems

Define and develop compelling content 30

  • Define specific Access IFT needs for content which could be developed by global prior to affiliate localization.
  • Lead change management initiative for content development
  • Train and Coach VAT leads on Content Development requirements (audience message approval systems)

 


Qualifications :

  • 810 Years Pharmaceutical Experience
  • In Field Team experience as a manager / IFT member in a commercial or market access role
  • Demonstrate high proficiency of the component parts of driving In Field Team excellence.
  • Content development experience in a commercial or market access role including utilization of Veeva for approval and dissemination.  Experience of using CRM systems (e.g Veeva)
  • Excellent organizational/strong project management skills
  • Must have positive attitude and build strong relationships with peers and cross functionally to enable higher performance.  Global / Area Experience preferred but not essential
  • Acts consistently with our ethics obligations and the law
