Job Description
- Full time positions based in Dandenong South VIC.
- Shift times either Monday to Friday 4pm 12am (midnight) or Tuesday to Saturday 7am 3pm.
- An extra 1.5 superannuation paid on top of National standard rate.
The Lab Technicians (Solid Splitting) is responsible for the subsampling and weighout of samples and transfer to the prep laboratory for extraction. Other duties include assisting with sample receipt as necessary.
Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
Using the LIMS priority worklist to determine which job is next in priority for processing and printing out stickers for each container or subsample required.
Homogenising and weighing subsamples and QA/QC
Transfer of subsamples to the appropriate section of the laboratory.
Assist in sample receipt.
Assist with sample disposal.
General housekeeping.
Act in accordance with the Eurofins Code of Ethics and all other relevant policies and procedures as updated from time to time.
