Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Distressed Debt Sales Analyst to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for covering Institutional clients of the desk/firm and working closely with senior salespeople. You will also engage in research activities to develop technical and analytical skills enabling you to effectively cover clients and pitch credit ideas in the distressed and special situations space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to senior salespeople in covering institutional clients.
- Conduct research to develop technical and analytical skills for effective client coverage.
- Pitch credit ideas in the distressed and special situations space.
- Handle desk activities related to sales coverage.
- Perform tasks associated with the sales function including client communication and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of sales materials and presentations.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to the sales team.
- Maintain and update client databases and records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in fixed income sales or a related area.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word).
- Knowledge of distressed and special situations markets is a plus.
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100000 $120000.
