Job Description
The expected pay range for a CDL Driver/Truck Driver with a Class B license in KailuaKona is $21.00 per hour to $24.25 per hour.
The expected pay range for a CDL Driver/Truck Driver with a Class A license in KailuaKona with:
- Less than 5 years of professional CDL Class A driving experience: $22.65 to $26.30 per hour.
- 5 years or more of professional CDL Class A driving experience: $25.05 to $29.20 per hour.
HPM Building Supply in KailuaKona Hawaii is seeking to hire a fulltime CDL Driver/Truck Driver (Class A or Class B). Our diverse customer base from DIY enthusiasts to professional contractors relies on us for timely delivery of building materials. As the face of HPM the CDL Truck Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered safely and on time while providing outstanding customer service. The CDL Truck Driver is the first point of contact when an order is placed setting the tone for the entire customer experience. By maintaining regular communication with dispatch the CDL Truck Driver ensures efficient and timely deliveries consistently impressing customers with dedication and service.
The typical schedule for this CDL Driver/Truck Driver position is:
Monday Friday 6:00 am 3:00 pm
Earlier start times and overtime may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous commercial driving experience is preferred
- Class A or Class B Drivers License
- Customer service experience
- Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified
- Must be able to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
- Ability to twist bend squat reach climb a ladder and sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
