Job Description
Location: Utrecht Netherlands (Hybrid 1 day onsite 4 days remote)
Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor
Schedule: Fulltime 40 hours/week)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
Time Tracking: Required via Hubstaff
About the Role
Were on the lookout for a seasoned FullStack Developer with cuttingedge AI expertise to join our IT team on a fulltime freelance basis. This role is both strategic and handson perfect for someone whose not just fluent in code but also deeply passionate about pushing the boundaries of what AI can do.
What Youll Be Doing

Design and develop AIpowered applications and tools (e.g. intelligent dashboards automation tools digital assistants)

Use AI tools like GitHub Copilot ChatGPT etc. to enhance coding workflow

Lead and mentor junior developers or Vibe Coders (junior devs who primarily code with AI assistance)

Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver toptier solutions

Stay uptodate with emerging AI trends models and technologies

Work in a hybrid setting with at least one office day per week (Mondays in Utrecht)
What Were Looking For
- Proven FullStack development background youve been coding since before generative AI went mainstream
- Strong AI/ML integration experience youve built tools that are smart adaptive and AIdriven
- Handson with AIenhanced coding workflows (GitHub Copilot ChatGPT etc.
- Passionate about AI you geek out over new releases and love experimenting with the latest models
- Team leadership skills experience mentoring or managing small dev teams
- Based in the Netherlands and authorized to work (we dont offer sponsorship)
- Comfortable using Hubstaff for time tracking
Nice to Have

Experience working in fastpaced agile environments

Prior work with startups or highgrowth tech teams

Familiarity with LLM integration and vector databases
