Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Painter with experience in sandblasting auto body or industrial painting coating application finishing to apply paint/coatings to our products. The ideal candidate will ensure a highquality finish and meet production standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing surfaces for painting including cleaning sanding and masking and sandblasting.
- Applying paint/coatings using various methods (e.g. spray guns brushes rollers).
- Mixing paints/coatings to the correct consistency.
- Inspecting finished products for quality and touchup as needed.
- Maintaining painting equipment and a clean work area.
- Following all safety procedures.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Painter in Specify: auto body or a synonym for painting in manufacturing e.g. industrial painting coating application finishing is required.
- Ability to prepare surfaces for painting including cleaning sanding masking and sandblasting.
- Proficiency in using painting equipment (e.g. spray guns brushes rollers).
- Knowledge of paint mixing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain high attendance standards.
Compensation: Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties and certifications.
