Are you a handson technician with a sharp eye for detail. Here at Kamro we have partnered up with our clients who are on the lookout for a PreDelivery Inspection (PDI) Technician to join a wellestablished independent dealership known for its high standards awardwinning service and loyal customer base. If you thrive in a fastpaced workshop and take pride in setting vehicles up perfectly for their next owner this could be a great move.

About the Role

As a PDI Technician youll be responsible for carrying out thorough checks and prep work on used vehicles before theyre handed over to customers. From inspecting tyres and brakes to ensuring electronics fluids and paperwork are all in top order youll be that crucial final checkpoint making sure every car is safe roadready and presented to the highest standard. Youll be working with a range of makes and models so variety is part of the job.

They pride themselves on offering highquality used vehicles paired with excellent customer service and aftercare. The team is closeknit with a real emphasis on doing right by both the customer and each other. Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8am 6pm

Key Duties

  • Conducting predelivery inspections on all used vehicles before customer handover

  • Diagnosing and addressing minor faults where necessary

  • Ensuring all safety mechanical and cosmetic checks meet internal and regulatory standards

  • Performing road tests to confirm vehicle condition

  • Liaising with the wider workshop and valeting teams to ensure smooth turnaround

  • Completing all relevant paperwork and system updates accurately

Key Requirements

  • Experience as a Vehicle Technician ideally in a PDI or prep environment

  • Strong diagnostic and faultfinding skills

  • Ability to work independently with a focus on quality and efficiency

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) preferred or time served experience within the industry
