Assistant Mens Volleyball Coach

Rockhurst University is seeking applications for a parttimeAssistant Mens Volleyball Coach.Founded by the Jesuits in 1910 Rockhurst is a comprehensive university that offers more than fifty undergraduate masters and doctoral programs taught by nationally recognized faculty. Assistant Mens Volleyball Coach is responsible for the support of the operations of the mens volleyball program including but not limited to the recruitment of studentathletes practice and contest planning video analysis social media maintenance player skill development fundraising academic monitoring game management and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Perform duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
• Field a competitive team that assists with enrollment goals.
• Plan organize direct and assist with the operations for the mens volleyball program.

• Recruit academically and athletically qualified studentathletes.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of instructional practices that maximize the talent and potential of studentathletes while instilling values such as sportsmanship leadership and personal wellness.
• Demonstrate the ability to relate to and motivate studentathletes and to work with a variety of University staff alumni and the outside community.
• Commitment to compliance and knowledge of NCAA and GLVC rules.
• Promote the mission of the Athletic Department and Rockhurst University
• Must have excellent leadership and communication skills

• Bachelors Degree
• 2 years coaching experience
