Xometrys digital marketplace gives manufacturers the critical resources they need to grow their business while also making it easy for buyers at Fortune 1000 companies to tap into global manufacturing capacity.
Xometry is seeking a strategic and handson Vice President Communications to lead our internal and external communications function. This is a critical leadership role responsible for protecting and elevating Xometrys brand reputation and visibility across key stakeholdersincluding customers investors partners employees and the public.
You will lead a small but mighty team of fulltime and agency resources working closely with the CMO CEO and executive leadership team. Youll be responsible for integrated communications planning and crisis and issues management corporate PR executive visibility internal communications and overall message discipline across the organization. This leader will report directly to the CMO.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that supports Xometrys business goals and enhances our corporate reputation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and communications partner to the CEO and Csuite leading executive communications and thought leadership efforts.
- Own media relations strategy and including proactive storytelling product and company announcements and relationshipbuilding with key reporters.
- Lead issues and crisis communications preparation and response.
- Oversee internal communications to ensure alignment across teams and reinforce company culture and strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing HR Legal and Investor Relations to ensure message alignment and operational excellence.
- Manage and mentor a highperforming crossfunctional team of FTEs and external agency partners.
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in corporate communications public relations or related fields including experience leading executive communications.
- Proven track record working with CEOs and executive leadership teamsable to influence and communicate effectively at the highest levels.
- Deep experience managing media relations including established relationships with business tech and trade press.
- Excellent writing editing and storytelling skills across formats and audiences.
- Experience in techdriven companies required; marketplace or regulated industry experience a plus.
- Background in B2B companies is essential; experience in or exposure to manufacturing is a bonus.
- Professional presence and sound judgment especially in highpressure or timesensitive situations.
- Ability to think strategically while being a handson contributor.
- Collaborative leader who knows how to scale impact with a lean team.
