Job Description

Description

The Director of Facilities Management is a critical position that provides overall management and strategic leadership for Facility Services. We are looking for a servant leader who not only can perform the duties of their team members but also helps develop and teach their team. The position assures the Mission Vision and Values of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center are represented in all decisions for the delivery of services. The position is a member of the Administrative and Leadership Councils and participates as a member of the management team.

Responsibilities:

  • 75 of the day is spent throughout the building assisting with projects and repairing / fixing various parts of it
  • 25 is spent working with vendors and doing other administrative related tasks
  • Measuring customer service and meeting customer needs.
  • Partnering with customers/others promoting NMC mission vision and core values.
  • Visionary leadership and strategic planning
  • Improving work processes treating others with respect and valuing diversity.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum High School diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare facility engineering experience preferred but will accept outside industries
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory/management responsibilities
  • Experience as a Safety Officer and Chairperson of EOCC preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret Life Safety and Fire Safety blue prints
  • Broad knowledge of Unified Building Codes International and Local Building Codes and Life Safety Code 101.
  • Knowledge of JCAHO standards.
  • Knowledge of Acting with integrity analyzing and interpreting financial data computer literacy gathering needed information delegating and supporting teams evaluating decisions/solutions improving work process making effective decisions.
  • Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills. Demonstrating/facilitating/public speaking.
  • Utilizing communication channels.
