Job Description
Computer Network Architect (SME)
Onsite: Arlington VA

Responsibilities:
- Handles network modeling and analysis
- Provides designs for network changes to management for approval
- Recommends network equipment improvements
- Analyzes business needs to drive changes to network architecture
- Evaluates network performance to ensure optimization
- Evaluates devices and vendors to find the best solutions for the company at a low cost
- Monitors vendor contracts against results and escalates issues to management when necessary
- Produces documentation including diagrams that detail network architecture implementation
- Develops and implements coded solutions for new network hardware or software
- Drafts and maintains policies for deployments and daily operations to ensure efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Fifteen 15 years of prior experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- IAT or IAM Level I certification
- Active Security Clearance
