Build relationships and create teamwork within the Bond department IT Infrastructure and the IT Division as a whole.
Ensure that quality related activities or functions are undertaken on the projects.
Observe infrastructure and equipment installation to ensure conformance to specifications are being met and contractual requirements are fully implemented.
Ensure materials/equipment on the projects are compliant with the plans and specifications to Dallas ISD technical design guidelines.
Discuss results and findings in weekly meetings offer suggestions and take an engaged approach in the discussions.
Maintain controlled copies of blueprints and IT related scopes of work per project.
Working with the project managers assist in developing/Implementing inspection criteria and procedures for site assessment.
Conduct and document necessary field inspection investigations and prepare and distribute timely associated reports.
Responsible for producing quality work must be organized and able to meet deadlines.
Investigate and correct vendor or Bond issues and complaints relating to quality.
Monitors operations for adherence to project plans specifications and procedures.
Make sure that equipment and Infrastructure are operating correctly as well as meeting industry and regulatory standards.
Responsible for the performance of onsite tasks related to quality control (QC) compliance.
Participates in the development of procedures and quality improvement solutions related to specific assignment area.
Attend pertinent meetings and assist with schedule planning activities.
Other responsibilities include reading construction drawings and a working knowledge of local codes and regulations. The inspector is required to maintain BICSI standards and comply with Dallas ISDs Technical Design Guidelines (TDG) requirements.
