Brown University Health has an opportunity for a board certified or eligible psychiatrist interested in joining our Partial Hospital Program. This intensive shortterm treatment program based in ACT therapy helps adults who are facing mental health challenges and issues that impact their daily lives. This position will be based in Providence but can be done virtually as well. Our Behavioral Health team is robust consisting of every psychiatric subspecialty and includes psychiatrists psychologists therapists and trainees.
About the position:
The team consists of 11 psychiatrists 18 psychologists 6 masters level therapists 2 postdoctoral fellows and 1 psychology resident

Work MF 8:00a4:00p
Work across multiple specialty tracks including general adult young adult borderline and emotional regulation trauma specific substance use disorders
Call 1 weekend every 8 weeks (inpatient psychiatry at RI Hospital)
Patients diagnosis includes but are not limited to mood disorders anxiety disorders PTSD substance use disorders and personality disorders
Outstanding administrative support
Treat 812 patients per day depending on overall census for an average census of 9 patients daily
