Since 1964 we have proudly supported the U.S. Navy as a trusted Prime Contractor managing and maintaining the Navys Inactive Ship fleet at various locations including Philadelphia Bremerton California and Hawaii.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Rigger Supervisor to lead and manage rigging operations at our Pearl Harbor site.
What Youll Be Doing:
Supervising all rigging operations including lifting moving positioning and securing heavy machinery equipment and structural components aboard ships and within the facility.
Planning rigging operations and selecting appropriate tools materials and methods for safe and effective work.
Training and mentoring Riggers Rigger Helpers Operators and other trades on safe work practices rigging techniques and use of equipment.
Enforcing safety regulations maintaining housekeeping standards and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assisting in difficult and complex rigging operations and ensuring quality control and work productivity.
Requisitioning necessary tools and coordinating with other trades as needed.
Keeping leadership informed on work progress issues injuries and personnel matters.
Managing documentation such as timekeeping reports performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Assisting in vessel mooring and unmooring evolutions.
May be assigned oncall Duty Manager responsibilities on evenings weekends or holidays.
What Youll Need to Succeed:
Minimum:
Five 5 years of experience in rigging operations.
Knowledge of rigging principles tools and techniques.
Ability to plan rigging operations and read blueprints diagrams and specifications.
Must have a valid drivers license and qualify to operate government/company vehicles.
Must satisfactorily complete the following certifications within a specified time:
NAVFAC P307 Crane Rigger Course
Workboat Operator
Forklift Operator
May certify as Load Test Director or Category 3 Crane Operator per NAVFAC P307.
Preferred:
Ten 10 years of relevant ship rigging experience or military experience.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage teams and projects under highpressure conditions.
Skilled in crane signaling small boat operations moving barges and rigging equipment.
Ability to handle weights over 45 lbs and climb vertical ladders up to 75 feet.
Must maintain reliability and consistent onsite presence for operational oversight.

Security Clearance:
This position requires a Confidential Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen per Inactive Shipoff Instruction 5500.3B.
