Job Description
Door Systems ASSA ABLOY has an immediate opening for a National Accounts Quote Specialist. This position will be based in Huntersville NC.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present comprehensive detailed cost estimates for retail projects including breakdowns of materials labor and other expenses using internal quoting template and CRM systems.
- Collaborate with the operations team project managers and other team members to ensure estimates align with customer requirements and specifications.
- Utilize market trends historical quote data and outcomes to calculate costs margins and pricing strategies for competitive and accurate quotes.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and delivery timelines required for quoted projects.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide clarifications regarding quotes including adjustments based on customer feedback or changes in requirements.
- Archive and maintain detailed records of estimates bids and project costs.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; associates degree or higher preferred.
- Proven experience in cost estimation preferably within the retail or Construction Management industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of individuals located at multiple sites. Experience using ERP systems as well as CRM systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook) strong analytical and problemsolving skills excellent communication and interpersonal skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.
