What Youll Do:
This position acts as a central point of contact for planning coordinating and evaluating public health and medical emergency preparedness programs across the state of Ohio.
Overall this role is critical for ensuring Ohios preparedness for public health emergencies and disasters.

The Bureau of Health Preparedness (BHP) is one of Ohio Department of Healths core public health responsibilities. BHP provides direction support and coordination in preventing preparing for and responding to events that threaten the publics health. BHP maintains an all hazards approach in response to natural and manmade disasters acts of bioterrorism infectious disease outbreaks and other emergencies that impact the health of the public.
This position is scheduled to work Monday Friday 8am 5pm and is limited to 1000 hours per fiscal year.
