DescriptionPacSci EMC is seeking a talented and detailoriented Financial Analyst to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in program cost analysis with exposure to all corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed program cost analysis including tracking actual costs against budgets and forecasts.
- Support the development and maintenance of program budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and areas of opportunity or concern.
- Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze financial data and metrics.
- Support companywide FP&A activities including budgeting forecasting and longterm financial planning.
- Perform adhoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
- Assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the finance leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- 24 years of experience in financial analysis budgeting forecasting or related roles.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive and problemsolving mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in program cost analysis or project accounting.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and data tools (Power BI).
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle).
- Experience in the aerospace defense or manufacturing industries.
