Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Technician with a strong technical background to join Fluke Services Industrial Precision (Thermography IR and Pressure) team. The individual will calibrate troubleshoot and repair instruments and systems returned for service and/or repair. This role is typically found in areas such as service support and metrology and involves troubleshooting to the component level.
Responsibilities:
- Achieves customer satisfaction though completion of calibration services within expected timeframes as assigned by lead techs or supervisors
- Accurately enters data into tracking database
- Creates calibration data sheets accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision based upon instrument specifications and approved calibration procedures.
- Completes all documentation supporting customer requirements reporting ISO and other quality systems.
- Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks
- Creates calibration datasheets
- Performs Preventative maintenance
- Adheres to quality management system policies and procedures in performance of work
- FBS participationDaily Scheduling Visual Management Participation Kaizen Participation Basic problem solving.
- Performs other laboratory support functions as required in an efficient and orderly manner.
- Convey data and trends on product calibrations to appropriate personnel or departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Escalate unusual product issues to technical support or other appropriate departments.
Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
Required:
- Typically requires a minimum of 04 years of related experience
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with temperature probes and digital multimeters.
- Proficient with Windows Microsoft Office and Internet applications with an emphasis on Excel required.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds) unassisted.
Preferred:
- College degree or continued education.
- Military Metrology/Calibration (PMEL or TMDE) training.
- 2year technical certification
- Experience in equipment calibration in the following disciplines:
- Biomedical
- General Purpose
- Physical Dimensional
- Understanding of basic metrology concepts (ISO 17025.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is $22$42 hourly.
Is this role subject to ITAR
The essential duties of this position require adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations.
