The Field Service Technician will be based out of our Columbia South Carolina area and is responsible for providing onsite client installation repairs and maintenance of their HVAC Refrigeration and cooking equipment.
The ideal candidate is prompt and reliable has superior support skills and excellent communication. He/she will have a proven track record of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service.

Responsibilities:
- Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose repair and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment including ovens walk in coolers/freezers dish machines fryers mixers tilt skillets and HVAC systems.
- Support the client Oversee all network services and perform tests on equipment and circuits. Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely manner. Perform tests to ensure systems are errorfree. Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and gas related issues with commercial kitchen equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelors degree or certification preferred
- Experience a minimum of 25 years in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
- Ability to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent manager
- Ability to lift to 55 pounds
- Problemsolving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Preferred relevant certifications such as EPA 608 CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Associate) in gas electrical steam refrigeration or electrical.
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record as outlined with our company policy.
- Must be able to pass a satisfactory background and drug screening.
- Computer skills including Microsoft office
- Knowledgeable about all safety requirements
