About the Role
As a Knowledge Management and IT Support Specialist you will drive IT system administration security compliance and process optimization across classified and unclassified networks. Your expertise will enable seamless operations data management and executive coordinationensuring mission success for Department of Defense (DoD) leadership.
Youll collaborate with seniorlevel teams security professionals and IT specialists to implement best practices in network administration cybersecurity inventory management and operational support. This position offers handson problemsolving while working with cuttingedge defense technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain a documentation process for PCAT external research engagements.
Develop and implement Record Information Management (RIM) systems including SOP development and quarterly audits.
Provide IT support and troubleshooting including activation requests equipment procurement and system setup.
Maintain inventory control of all PCATassigned assets including NIPR SIPR and JWICS computers.
Oversee security protocols for onboarding and outprocessing personnel ensuring smooth account activation and access management.
Assist with network troubleshooting including Active Directory management VLAN assignment and shared file access.
Support classified and unclassified executive meetings ensuring technical efficiency and security compliance.
Maintain compliance with DoD security standards including proper handling and disposal of classified materials.
Coordinate adhoc IT efforts adapting to evolving operational needs.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience.
4 years of expertise in IT support security administration and information management Masters degree accepted with 26 years of experience.
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance SCI eligibility required.
Experience working in an Administrative Assistance capacity.
Experience in DoD helpdesk support and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word PowerPoint Outlook and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
Current CompTIA Security and A certifications. Strong knowledge of networking and IT asset management.
Experience managing IT assets and security compliance within a DoD environment.
Expertise in classified safe management including proper handling of sensitive materials.
Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment collaborating with federal and contractor personnel.
