Overview:
Griffin Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Radiological Technologist to join our team. This leadership role is essential in delivering highquality diagnostic imaging services while supporting and guiding a team of technologists in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Main Function:
Under the supervision of a Radiologist the Lead Radiological Technologist performs a variety of technical and professional procedures in the application of prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis and therapy. This position also includes supervisory responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
Ensure quality control and optimal patient care
Supervise mentor and schedule staff technologists
Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support clinical excellence
Education & Certification:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Connecticut State License required
Associates Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in a radiology setting
Strong technical skills and leadership abilities
