Job Description

Residential Support Worker Therapeutic Childrens Home

Location: Oldham OL3
Salary: 14 per hours & 70 per sleep
Shifts: 48hour shifts occasional 24hour shifts (rota confirmed 6 months in advance)
Sleepins: 810 per month (essential)
Oncall duties: Required
Driver: Yes essential
Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is desirable

About the Role

As aResidential Support Worker youll play a vital role in transforming lives. Youll:

  • Deliver consistent onetoone therapeutic care to children aged 517
  • Support children in daily routines education and social activities from appointments to UK trips and holidays abroad
  • Be a positive role model providing stability safety and emotional support
  • Help create a nurturing environment where children feel heard and valued
  • Maintain accurate records in line with care plans
  • Work collaboratively with a closeknit team and an experienced manager
  • Be resilient through the highs and lows and always ready to put the child first

What Were Looking For

A full UK driving licence
Passion empathy and a strong sense of purpose
Commitment to building a career in therapeutic care with support to gain your Level 3 and onto your Level 5 Diploma and progress into management
