Job Description
About the role:
The Safety team at Samsara is the anchor point from which we have built a great business extending AI into physical operations. We build intelligent systems that combine computer vision sensor data road context and behavioral patterns to detect risk and prevent accidents before they happen for some of the largest fleets in the world.
In this role youll be leading our invehicle experience. Drivers face an increasing amount of challenges on the road and its our job to help them stay safe. We do this by analyzing everything that happens on the road and then alerting drivers to any dangers we can detect in realtime. This will be your job to take the driver experience and safety to the very next level!
This is a remote position open to candidates based in the US. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

In this role you will:
- Own the strategy roadmap and of the InVehicle Experience product area balancing speed of delivery with longterm value.
- Work with our talented engineering teams to launch new products to help drive a fastgrowing atscale business with $1 Billion in ARR.
- Collaborate closely with customers to deeply understand their business their product feedback and inform our roadmap.
- Identify new product opportunities and own them from concept to launch.
- Act as a product owner ensuring every detail of the user experience meets high standards.
- Lead by example in using AI tools to accelerate product development customer research and decisionmaking.
- Partner with our Sales team to help close strategic customer accounts as needed.
- Champion role model and embed Samsaras cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success Build for the Long Term Adopt a Growth Mindset Be Inclusive Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 8 years of product management experience or other relevant experience with a proven track record of launching 0to1 products and driving business outcomes.
- Strong B2B SaaS background with experience working directly with enterprise customers.
- Handson approach with the ability to dive into details from defining features to demoing products and supporting sales.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a knack for simplifying complex problems and focusing on customer impact.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to work closely with technical teams and understand how to deliver highquality solutions.
- Strong ownership mentality with a willingness to go above and beyond to deliver exceptional results.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to present ideas clearly to customers and internal teams.
- Strong business acumen.
An ideal candidate also has:
- Technical background such as a degree in engineering computer science or related fields.
- Experience with hardware and software product development particularly in safetyfocused domains.
- Knowledge of industries such as transportation logistics or industrial operations.
- Proven ability to manage pricing revenue accountability and gotomarket strategy for new products.
- Entrepreneurial experience or background in highgrowth environments.
