Position Description: TheMedical College of WisconsinsDepartment of Neurosurgeryis seeking aNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto support Neurosurgical services located inPleasant Prairie Wisconsinat theFroedtert South FPPH Campus. MCW Department of Neurosurgery will advance the field of neurological surgery through worldclass care groundbreaking research and innovative education. TheAdvanced Practice Provider(APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration patient care patient safety research quality improvement and teaching. TheIdeal Candidatewill be a new or experience clinician/APP wanting to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to providing direct patient care to patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Position Requirements: Preferred Experience: 2 years of APP experience or relevant neurosurgical experience Minimum Education: Advanced Practice Nurse: Masters Degree or higher in Nursing Minimum Requirements: *or eligible Advanced Practice Nurse Physician Assistant Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Wisconsin Physician Assistant License Wisconsin RN License Certification by NCCPA Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License AHA ACLS AHA BLS DEA Acute Care preferred Adult & FNP considered AHA ACLS AHA BLS DEA
