Position Announcement: Assistant Resident Hall Director
The Assistant Hall Director (AHD) is a college employee serving the Residence Life Program administered by the Student Success Division. The personal Characteristics of an effective (AHD) include good judgement sense of humor ability to work and make decisions under pressure flexibility common sense commitment to positive group community and effective communication and leadership skills. This is a demanding role that takes a lot of time and energy. AHDs need to be available and ready to support residents whenever they need it. The primary objective for this position is to provide a living learning environment that promotes personal academic and social growth within a safe wellmaintained caring community.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
The Assistant Hall Director is a key member of the Residence Life team and will be directly responsible for the care of one of the residence halls and its residents. This involves enforcing policies and procedures safety standards emergency procedures reporting managing their RA teams promoting a healthy lifestyle educational programming and promoting a healthy living/learning environment. This position requires that the AHD live in the building that they manage.

What We Require:
- Associate degree from an accredited university or college.
- Programming/ event planning experience preferred
- Knowledge of office and business computer use specifically Microsoft Office Suite programs.
What We Can Offer:
This is a nonexempt hourly position paying $16.50 per hour for 28 hours per week. The position begins on August 1 2025 and concludes on May 15 2026. In addition to the salary a twobedroom apartment (furnished or unfurnished) with air conditioning with a private entrance is provided. A 19meal plan is also included when the campus cafeteria is in operation. The expected work hours are Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Flexible response times may be required during offhours.
