In this position...
At Ford Motor Company we are taking our Production Supervisors to the next level. Some of these talented employees have the title of Senior Process Coach Production and are responsible for delivering base department score card objectives as well as managing the processes to ensure optimum conditions and leading input stability to support and drive change and transformation.
Responsibilities
What youll do...
Confirm standards are in place
Support issues raised by the teams
Plan changes to the system
Manage changes to the system
Communication and Recognition
Develop highly competent and motivated people
Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks
Ensure completion of administrative responsibilities
Supervise salaried employees
Qualifications
Youll have...
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: 23 years experience as a Process Coach
o Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends
o Ability to work independently with limited supervision
o Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety quality and throughput
o Strong organizational and administrative skills
o Ability to multitask
o Strong problemsolving and conflict management skills
Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal teambuilding and communication skills
Even better you may have...
Education: Bachelors Degree
Experience:
o Body shop/stamping/paint/subassembly experience preferred
o Safety and Quality experience preferred
o Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
o Knowledge of constraint management principles
o Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
o Prior experience managing a unionized work force
