Join the Fluke Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst! This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with global teams on monthly financial close and forecast activities as well as conduct thorough analyses to aid in business comprehension. As a Senior Financial Analyst you will work closely with various teams to oversee annual planning monthly forecasting and financial reporting processes. You will delve into detailed analysis offer valuable insights and support strategic endeavors. The Senior Financial Analyst will focus on ensuring accuracy providing comprehensive insights into financial patterns performance and operational effectiveness. This role necessitates strong collaboration with the leadership team to improve decisionmaking and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Proficient at preparing and analyzing financial forecasts reports and trends to provide accurate insights on a monthly quarterly and annual basis. Be able to spot patterns trends and anomalies that can influence decisionmaking.
- Create financial forecasts and budgets. This involves predicting future financial outcomes based on historical data current trends economic conditions and most importantly business insights from commercial team. They need to ensure that the company is on track to meet its financial goals and identify areas where improvements can be made.
- Uncover the growth drivers by country/region by end markets/segments by business units/products etc. at detail level to generate proposals for management team to make decisions on investment priority and resource allocation.
- Provide support to leadership in making wellinformed decisions by conducting scenario modeling including but not limited to price vs. volume core business growth vs. new product introduction marketing proposals etc.
- Work with management to evaluate financial implications of potential projects and strategies such as bolton acquisition divestiture and business reorganization.
- Utilize advanced data analytics tools like Power BI to create and maintain informative financial reports and dashboards enhancing automation and efficiency in reporting tasks.
- Collaborate closely with other teams such as accounting operations service and commercial to ensure that financial data is accurate and aligned with company goals. Take the lead on specific projects or teams focused on key financial objectives.
- Spearhead the advancement of business analytics through close partnership with leadership utilizing statistical methods and predictive modeling to improve business insights and support strategic decisionmaking.
- Improve financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency accuracy and compliance.
- This role has potential to own full P&L responsibility thus finance partner for a segment within Fluke portfolio with global outreach including sales marketing product and operations/service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or other related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in financial analysis reporting or a similar role with a proven track record in finance management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and financial software like Oracle ERP Hyperion Power BI etc.
- Outstanding critical thinking analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex data.
- Experience with Industrial/Manufacturing businesses is a plus.
- Experience with business analytics is a plus.
