Your next career opportunity
As an Associate Lecturer in Music Theatre youll play a vital role in shaping the undergraduate Music Theatre teaching programmes. Youll have the opportunity to develop and deliver highquality curricula working closely with the Head of Music Theatre. Your expertise will contribute to an engaging student experience preparing the next generation of performers for success in the industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and Deliver Engaging Curricula: Create and maintain highquality course materials deliver workshops lectures and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Support Student Learning: Provide mentorship conduct assessments and offer consultations to nurture student growth and achievement.
  • Contribute to Programme Development: Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curricula incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and online delivery techniques.
  • Engage with the Arts Community: Participate in the professional arts sector fostering industry partnerships and contributing to the Facultys outreach initiatives.

You may be a great fit if:

You are an accomplished music theatre professional with a strong reputation for excellence in teaching and performance possessing the ability to inspire and guide students while contributing to curriculum development and industry engagement.

You may also:

  • Have an established reputation as a music theatre teacher specialising in either music theatre singing or evidencebased contemporary music theatre singing pedagogy.
  • Possess expertise in vocal coaching accompaniment and music theatre choral/ensemble direction.
  • Demonstrate strong management skills including inclusive decisionmaking and effective planning.
  • Show a commitment to innovation in curriculum design and teaching methods in higher education.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Hold a Masters degree or equivalent professional experience in the field.
