The Street to Home program
Red Cross has been successful in receiving additional funding to expand our homelessness programs in Townsville allowing us to further grow our teams that provide support to people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
The Street to Home program supports people who are homeless to live safely and develop pathways out of homelessness.
Street to Home incorporates a mobile outreach service. The morning outreach is 7am 10am Monday to Friday and every alternating Saturday 7am 10.30am
About the role
In this role you will provide mobile outreach and centrebased case management support to individuals and families experiencing vulnerabilities in Townsville. You will operate from a strength based and capacity building framework to ensure the promotion of social inclusion human rights participation and consumer choice.
You will work with other agencies and organisations in a collaborative approach to source appropriate support for clients. In addition you will also contribute to codesign process and adapt and innovate ways of working to improve Red Crosss response to the needs of clients.

This role is covered by the Social Community Home Care and Disability Services Award Level 4. Salary from $85145.84 FTE superannuation salary packaging.
