Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Refuse Collector to join our waste management team. The role involves collecting and disposing of refuse and recyclables in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
walk alongside refuse collection vehicles along designated routes to collect waste
Empty bins into the vehicle using mechanical lifting equipment
Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate collection activities
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during waste collection
Perform basic maintenance on collection vehicles
Sort recyclable materials from general waste
Requirements:
Valid UK driving licence to travel to different sites
