Job Description
Account Manager
The Account Manager serves as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of top tier client accounts with responsibilities for retention and growth this role will cover the Rocky Mountain East Region.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all customers.
- Drive client retention renewals upsells and client satisfaction.
- Work closely with Senior Account Managers and Account Managers on daytoday operational processes including but not limited to contract renewals prepare and maintain schedules to accomplish procurement objectives troubleshooting provide software training to client and contractor staff.
- Work closely with Senior Account Managers and Account Managers to determine root cause of customer success and failures and drive requirements for process enhancement and development as needed.
- Partner with internal crossfunctional teams to understand customer goals and key performance metrics and exceed those goals yearly.
- Provide input on new processes and workflow as needed.
- Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels operational excellence and strategic insight.
- Work closely with Finance on billing setup and invoicing.
- Hiring and developing staff to include the setting of objectives and performance reviews.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members about every aspect of their assignments
- Oversight of project support including scope development material takeoffs from plans and specifications proposal review and construction management.
- Participate in Budget development and management revenue forecasting and periodic updates and management of profit and loss.
- Work with Sales and Business Operations team to develop annual program usage and bench mark report.
- Deliver program review to clients senior management.
- Assist sales team in discovering business opportunities outside of Job Order Contracting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in Account Management/Customer Success. Knowledge of key concepts including JOC Process plans deliverables scope and tasks.
- Confident communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations.
- A focus on relationships able to gain trust through communication expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables.
- Sound decision making analytical and organizational skills in a fastpaced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal obligations.
- Working knowledge and experience in the preparation and process of construction bid documents. Knowledge in the process of new client startups (preferred).
- The ability to communicate effectively with team members and across the organization.
- Experience identifying client or staffing issues and the ability to create effective solutions as well as the knowledge of when to escalate.
- Fortive/Gordian requires new employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID19 as defined by the CDC subject to applicable verified accommodation requests.
- A valid US drivers license and the ability to travel up to 20
