The Athletic assistant will have responsibilities in their designated sport the athletics department in general and in student housing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
COMPENSATION
A coaching stipend may be given at the discretion of the head coach and/or Athletic Director.
Approved athletic assistants will receive free on campus housing (single or double occupancy will depend on availability) and a meal plan for the year.
The approximate value of this package is $10131.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Employment is for the academic year. Continued employment is subject to satisfactory performance as decided by the Head Coach Athletic Director and Resident Director. On campus housing for athletic assistants will be allowed for a maximum of two 2 years unless otherwise approved by the Executive Director of Enrollment and Residence Life and Athletic Director. If applicant is a former Southwestern student athlete they must be at least one 1 year removed from living in oncampus housing at Southwestern. Assistants are employees at will and may be terminated at any time without specification of cause.
