THIS POSITION IS UNCLASSIFIED PER 124.11 (A) 9 OHIO REVISED CODE.
This position is overtime exempt.
Compensation is as listed on the posting unless required by legislation or union contract.
Travel required as needed. Must provide own transportation. Or in order to operate a state vehicle you must have a valid drivers license from state of residence.

3 yrs. exp. in project management (i.e. management & development of project/program requirements design development testing/pilot training & full scale implementation) with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file (e.g. specific human service program area management information sciences fiscal); 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.
Or successful completion of 2 yrs. postsecondary education majoring in business administration public administration computer science/information technology social science or health with major being commensurate with project to be assigned; 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

Job Overview:
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a project management professional to be part of our PMOs Project Delivery Team. This project managers role is responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of strategic projects including Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives and policymandated efforts such as establishing and maintaining the Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC) and Beneficiary Advisory Council (BAC). As a Project Manager overseeing Medicaid Advisory & AI Initiatives your responsibilities will include:
EndtoEnd Project Oversight: Manages the full project lifecyclecovering integration scope time quality human resources communication risk and procurement managementleveraging Smartsheet for project tracking and reporting.
CrossFunctional Team Leadership: Lead projects with diverse teamscomprising subject matter experts business process analysts and external vendorsensuring collaboration and timely delivery.
Comprehensive Project Development: Develop and execute detailed project scopes plans and timelines including definition verification and development phases to achieve strategic objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with key internal and external stakeholders including agency management staff and partner state agencies to ensure effective delivery of project outcomes that comply with state and federal regulations.
